Hope On Thanksgiving

“One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. 6 Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.”

Romans 14:5-6

Since I started blogging, I usually share a photo of the Thanksgiving turkey, but we decided to do something different this year and go completely Asian with the menu. I skipped the turkey and went with Pork roast instead along with rice noodles.

Most of us are dealing with the reality of uncertainty and this day, I am most thankful for God’s promises which serve as an anchor during times like these.

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who hope in His mercy,
19 To deliver their soul from death,
And to keep them alive in famine.

20 Our soul waits for the Lord;
He is our help and our shield.
21 For our heart shall rejoice in Him,
Because we have trusted in His holy name.
22 Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
Just as we hope in You.

Psalm 33:18-22

Have a Happy Thanksgiving and may you cling to the promise of God’s faithfulness.
