Being called sheep is a good thing. Now to be called a goat on the other hand…

A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. 25 It is enough for a disciple that he be like his teacher, and a servant like his master. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more will they call those of his household!

Matthew 10:24-25 NKJV

Character assassination and being slandered comes with the territory for those who follow Jesus Christ. Jesus was called demon-possessed by the very people who plotted to kill Him (John 10:19-21). The accuser of the brethren has utter disdain for the children of Light and since his time is almost up, he is ramping up his rage by slander towards anyone who rejects his propaganda (2 Timothy 2:26) as domestic terrorists, murderers and tin-foil hat conspiracy theorists.

We can see the mirroring principle both in those who follow Jesus in John 15:20,

“Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also.”

and Satan, the accuser and his followers who mirror him when it comes to slander in John 8:44,

“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies.

Though all people are created in the Imago Dei, the verse below counters the widely circulated erroneous belief that we are all children of God,

“But to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God—”

John 1:12

This is a key verse that professing Christians who support the ecumenical movement should really take the time to meditate on.

There is no better time than now to become a child of God.

How? Believe in Jesus Christ.

The enemy’s puppets are working hard to make sure to cover up the evil they are perpetrating against humanity and also the blatant haste to get their agenda to move along, but their sternwheeler can only go where God allows it. The most interesting thing about a cover-up is that the lid is always meant to be blown. It gives great comfort to all believers in knowing that evil people will never be able to get past God’s sovereignty (Proverbs 19:21, Psalm 33:10).

“So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.”

Matthew 10:26
