I Dare Say D’Orsay

Dunno what it is about shoes. Seriously. I can’t eat and ingest it but I just can’t seem to have enough of it. I find the desire for shoes a plague gnawing at an even deeper level. Why can’t I be content? I recognize the trappings of my own greed but I seem to become an invalid when it comes to doing something about it.

I can’t blame it all on any media manipulation. I take full responsibility of my inability to say no when the temptation beckons me. Not to sound dramatic but I gotta stress it’s mainly just for shoes. There is indeed a struggle to be content with what I already have or to acquire more of what I already have in excess. This happens to be one of my life’s vexations.

“Put to death, therefore, whatever belongs to your earthly nature: sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry.”

Colossians 3:5
