As we headed for our late afternoon venture at a park some miles away from the house, airing on the radio were talks about evolution. It’s no coincidence. I find it interesting since studying bird features was a pivotal part in Darwin’s theory of natural selection.

If you are always looking for something grand, you will miss the beauty in the simple things. You don’t have to go far to see it. It’s everywhere. I saw four different kinds of birds in just today’s outing and they were all in one park. I also took a picture of two sparrows.

If you happen to adhere to the theory, in your own estimation (not Darwin’s), how long do you think it took for these creatures to evolve in order to have differences in coloration and features? Since these are birds and they’re small in stature, give or take 250 thousand years? We can’t even live past 120 measly years, so to assert a number higher than our lifespan would not make it scientific since none of us would be around to observe the actual process take place.

“Then the LORD said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.”

Genesis 6:3

But wait! Birds are pretty complex since they are able to fly and mammals can’t. Even when we are given dominion over these creatures (Genesis 1:28), none of us were born with built-in wings. In this, the birds have the advantage. In our present time, human and bird life are the same since some people think they can easily shoot other people like they shoot birds. This is the sad part about a world that is led to believe we descended from animals.

Yes, we have emotions and we can all see the difference.

Some adamantly choose to believe the certainty of their elusive ‘evidence’. They keep crying “No evidence” for God even when they have made up their minds to reject what the observable clearly points to.

For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God or give thanks, but they became futile in their reasonings, and their senseless hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools

Romans 1:21-22

And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4 The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4
