This is a continuation of scenes from yesterday. Don’t know what kind of bird this is, but it was perching on the tree by the bridge.
It was too bright to stare at the light. The bird here was a pleasant surprise. I only found out about it being in the picture when we got home.
“Now if indeed I have found favor in Your sight, please let me know Your ways, that I may know You and find favor in Your sight. Remember that this nation is Your people.”

In the most unexpected place was a familiar face. I haven’t seen one of these in the backyard for several weeks now. It was a treat to see one in West Linn. Walking through the bridge takes you from one city to another (Oregon City to West Linn).
Being a Christian does not guarantee an easy life. However, He guarantees to help us endure the tumultuous moments in our journey from this existence to the next (John 14:15-17).
“The LORD Himself goes before you; He will be with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid or discouraged.”
