Pain In Every Grain

It’s much harder to keep our thoughts to ourselves than to mouth off. With everything that is going on in the world, there are plenty of thoughts to go around, but there’s the ‘special’ few who believe they get to dictate what people ought to say nowadays. At the end of the day, only God’s Word has the power to change people. If this weren’t so, the enemy and his minions wouldn’t work so hard to discredit it.

One thing that has been bugging me lately is the enemy’s tactic of subversion. There are two sides and the adversary makes quite an extreme of the bad side look so bad some move over to the conservative side. The conservatives become welcoming of antithetical practices because the ‘new conservatives’ have influence and they take over, thereby eradicating true conservatism. To be blunt, compromise replaces true conservatism. Politics can’t save the world. Only a spiritual heart transplant through an encounter with the Savior can.

“To the pure, all things are pure; but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure. Indeed, both their minds and their consciences are defiled.”

Titus 1:15 BSB

Setting the camera to compensate for darkness (ISO 1600) adds a grainy texture to the picture. Not quite a fan of the grain, hence the title. However, I’m content to end the day in color. Was deliberating to title the post “Oh Crappy Days,” but pain in every grain is more fitting.

“You will be hated by everyone because of My name, but the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.”

Mark 13:13 BSB
