Truth… Some people just don’t want to hear it

I am somewhat unaffected by the taste of Socialism inflicted by the Social Media Social-ists from the two major platforms since I do not have an account on both, but I can somehow relate especially when you take your time to make a comment and someone just deliberately deletes it. Even professing Christians do this in WP without any explanation. It is entirely possible comments are flagged by Akismet. However, there are people who avoid engaging in a public dialogue for the reason that they have something to hide.

This is one thing about being on the internet. People who fake it will easily be found out and let this be a warning to the false prophets. While everyone is well aware there are no perfect people, it is an absolute must for followers of Christ to live a life of integrity, not duplicity.

Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.”

Ephesians 4:25

A well-known Christian apologist led a deviant life behind the scenes as he went all over the globe trying to win souls for Christ until his indiscretions found him out. It does not just stop at deviant behavior but this extends to motives easily exposed by blatant greed. It is when Christians put up a front that bring a great deal of harm and disillusionment to the body of Christ.

For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.”

Ephesians 5:5

Being censored/shadowbanned by people completely devoid of the truth is to expected. They do not live in the light and are afraid their deeds are going to be exposed. What is also expected is that even those who profess to be Christians can for a time be susceptible to false doctrine. It depends on the priorities of the Christian. Do they want to be liked by people?

The main motivation in truth telling is so that the body of Christ may come to maturity. When truth is involved, it cuts all.the.time. It is the cutting/pruning of a plant that stimulates growth. This principle is applicable in gardening and is just as true in the spiritual.

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ.

Ephesians 4:15

My hope is that as you read any of my posts, it will direct you to the truth that liberates (John 8:31-32). I am just a messenger (who is often unwelcome) whose main goal is to direct you to cling to God’s Word. Doing so is your only protection from falling for the adversary’s counterfeit gospel.
