You will not see its precision until you get a close-up

We can read something from Scripture at any given day but sometimes its reality does not hit home until we see it close enough. The Word of God is written plainly for anyone to understand. However, Jesus is clear that understanding is hidden and will be revealed only to those who are willing to receive it. You will not receive the message if your heart is intent on already rejecting it.

“At that time Jesus said, “I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. 26 Yes, Father, for this is what you were pleased to do. 27 “All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.

Matthew 11:25-27

revealed them to little children –“Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” – Matthew 18:3-4

If you still choose to watch the news (narrative), it is reflecting the precision of the prophecy laid out in Scripture.

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.”

Matthew 24:12

For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. 11 And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, 12 that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”

2 Thessalonians 2:7-12

It is no coincidence that we are seeing the push to do away with law enforcement. The increase of lawlessness becomes the indicator of the nearness of the coming “lawless one” in 2 Thessalonians 2. Whether you will actually be here or not to witness this event, it is imperative to know the sequence in order to understand the times we are living in. We hear plenty of rumors questioning the veracity and reliability of Scriptures. It stays exactly as a rumor until you decide to look into what’s being prophesied and what’s really happening.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

James 1:5
