Making up for lost time. Got rid of my guitar when I moved from NYC to where I am. I can honestly say I’ve picked up playing much better now than I did 10 years ago. It’s probably because I am intent to play for an audience of one. I remember my mother made me sing in front of an audience when I was six and I don’t know what it is about being a child that just makes them do things without reservations and inhibitions. Possibly because most children at a tender age are devoid of seeking for approval and any feeling of shame thereof? Oh that I would possess that trait yet again, to be bold and unashamed.

What you see are facets of who I am, a floppy wearin’ (It gets quite hot where I’m at), guitar playin’ adopted daughter of the Most High 🙂 who echoes the words of Francesca Battistelli,

“I’m not living for applause,
I’m already so adored
It’s all His stage…
He knows my name”

I play mostly CCM (Christian contemporary music) and some 90’s songs that I just can’t shake off my system.

“I will sing to the LORD as long as I live. I will praise my God to my last breath!”
