Rest Securely In Jesus

It is not a matter of if, but when that believers will be hit with thoughts of insecurity when it comes to faith and salvation. The “cloud of witnesses” spoken of in Hebrews 11-12 certainly had their moments and none of us are exempt. In every waking day, we are in a spiritual battle and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ expects us to hold on and persevere through the power of the Holy Spirit in us.

Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.”

Hebrews 7:25 NKJV

All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.”

John 6:37 NKJV

and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out – If you can go back to the moment that you have called on Jesus to save you and accepted His gift of eternal life (John 3:16), rest in the comfort of His word. You called on His name because you were already drawn by God Himself,

No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I will raise him up at the last day.”

John 6:44 NKJV

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. 28 And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. 30 I and My Father are one.

John 10:27-30 NKJV

My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all – Focus on the last three words; No created being is greater than God. Not even Satan and his demons or you can pluck yourself out of His hand if you have truly given your life to Him. Rest in this truth.

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

John 4:23-24 NKJV

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:6 NKJV
