The tree is full of ripe fruit.
“Don’t you have a saying, ‘It’s still four months until harvest’? I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”
It may be Winter, but why let the cold air stop one from harvesting fruit? Time is running short. This is no time to shrink back in fear.
“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.
“In just a little while,
he who is coming will come
and will not delay.”
“But my righteous one will live by faith.
And I take no pleasure
in the one who shrinks back.”
Left unharvested, it becomes a casualty of wasted opportunity.
“Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few.”
Your participation is needed for the kingdom more than ever.
“But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.”
For a blog with no commentary and just verses, I have recently started JohnThreeXVI. It is minimalistic with a black and white theme. I hope that you will find the site encouraging.
