Sunset & Horses

The color of blood.

I messed up today! I left the house without the SD card on my camera so I ended up taking pictures with my phone. It’s pretty much still coat weather over here, but I ended up using this fan to cover up the sun from getting in my eyes as we were headed to the park. I’m short so even when I lower the mirror to cover up the harsh light, it doesn’t do the job. When I open the fan, below is what’s on it.

Horses. Does this remind you of something? It’s in Revelation 6. Some people think we are already riding the horses, but there is no Antichrist yet, the main guy that is (1 John 2:18). With everything that’s happening and how they are testing the waters on the population’s compliance to mandates, his unveiling is near. I hold to the Pretribulation Rapture, where genuine believers will not be around to worship the Antichrist. Believers will be persecuted and killed prior to this as we are already seeing happen to Christians worldwide (Luke 21:12). Here at home, slander of Religious Extremism towards believers who voted for the platform which aligns to biblical principles will fuel the growing hostility.

This is a warning to those who are just playing church and are not bearing the fruit in keeping of sanctification. Jesus warned us that there will be many who claim to belong to Him, but really do not.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Matthew 7:21

Let’s focus on “only the one who does the will of my Father.” If a person is dead to the Holy Spirit’s repeated warnings, that person will remain in an unrepentant state, unable to do God’s will (Romans 8:8). It would be sad to believe you will be in the Rapture and end up being left behind in the most horrific time in human history as stated in Matthew 24:21,

For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now—and never to be equaled again.

We could think we are ready and the Lord tells us to always be on the watch (Matthew 25:1-13) and since we are still in this body, we will stumble. There are hidden sins that we do unawares and God expects those who profess to know Him to walk in the truth.

“But who can discern their own errors?
Forgive my hidden faults.
13 Keep your servant also from willful sins;
may they not rule over me.
Then I will be blameless,
innocent of great transgression.”

Psalm 19:12-13

We got home late from our walk in the park and the downtown area, hence this late post. We started to talk about the ‘best’ way to leave this earth from scenarios of plagues to a nuclear explosion; You won’t feel pain when something like this happens while you’re asleep. Both men in my life, my husband and son woke up today dreaming about plagues and their dreams sounded eerily connected.

Spend some time with your family and make good memories if you don’t already do this, but above all, always strive to live in keeping with your profession of faith in Jesus.

“Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.
Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.”

Galatians 5:24-25
