My family visited a tulip farm earlier today. It was rainy yesterday so the farm was definitely a little tricky to get around. We went there in regular shoes, not boots and had to tread through slippery mud. We all got a lesson of camaraderie today. Without all four of us holding hands, one could have easily slipped and fallen. I was the last one in line behind my son, from which I saw his shoe almost coming off his foot from getting stuck, while my daughter was right behind my husband who was leading the way. Not caring about how awkward we must have looked trying to stay upright, we were laughing all the way to safety.
I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to salvage the suede sneakers I wore today. I had that pair since 2006! Luckily, at the time, I bought 2 additional pairs in different colors. They don’t make them anymore. Today’s experience is definitely something we all could look back to for the rest of our lives. Driving home was just as enjoyable. We not only enjoyed the vibrant and beautiful colors from the flowers at the farm, but also the different hues of green from Olive, to moss green, to chartreuse. Oregon is really beautiful at Spring time.

It sure was! Considering Oregon weather, I’d warn those who are planning to visit the Tulip farm to invest in a pair of Soccer cleats!
LOL! It seems like it would be a great idea for them to provide better surfaces to walk on.
Not all places were hard to walk on but there were definitely a lot of tricky areas. Even people needed help leaving the place since their cars got stuck in the mud!

True. It’s pretty wet there most of the time, isn’t it? I’m in the mountains of Arizona and it’s a lot wetter here than in Phoenix. But also a lot drier than Oregon.
