Take His Word For It

“Look at the birds of the sky, that they do not sow, nor reap, nor gather crops into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more important than they?”

Matthew 6:26

“Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?”

Matthew 6:26

I didn’t make a mistake. You read the same verse twice, in two different translationsNASB and NKJV.

It is good to witness all of summer’s bounty. Isn’t it?

The parks in this state happen to have plenty of fruit for both people and birds to enjoy. It is sad to witness that most of the fruit just fall to the ground.

To look for birds at this time, it is hard to miss all the fruit that abound on trees where the birds are at.

While the birds are not exempt from being shot at (every living thing has problems), these birds really never have to worry. Among all of creation, they have the most amazing ability of traveling without having to worry about food, board and lodging!

To be candid, I have things to work on, but worrying is not on the top of the list. God incarnate said to look at the birds and doing so is more than convincing. If you have not been observing birds, maybe you should give it a try.

Jesus said, “Are you not of more value than they?

Whatever worries you have, it’s important to be truly convinced that the Creator of all things says He’ll take care of you, just like He cares for all of the birds.
