Knowing the True—Rejecting the False

¹⁸ We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him.

¹⁹ We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.

²⁰ And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us an understanding, that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.

under the sway – Going along with the destructive current of racial tensions is being under the sway of the wicked one. Never have I seen anything before where black people are demanding white people to kneel and apologize for something they themselves have not personally participated in. It will not be surprising that this race issue will ultimately lead to Antisemitism other than the most obvious goal of divide and conquer.

keep yourselves from idols – As Christians, are we supposed to kneel to anyone else but God? If you profess to be a  Christian and you are not bothered by the idea that a black person can ask a white person to kneel to apologize for sins in the name of slavery, you need to reassess your profession of faith. If they can make you kneel for something like this, you will easily kneel and bow to the coming Antichrist. God will not share His glory with a created being (Isaiah 42:8).
