A Perennial Closeup

There is something good about this plant. Its leaves are green. Under scrutiny, we can see the dust and particles that are pretty much unwanted specks on this picture. My first instinct would be to edit it from this image. However, it would strip the purpose of this post. Without an agent, the specks will remain unless removed.

Remember what I told you: ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. 21 They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the one who sent me. 22 If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin.

John 15:20-22 NIV

Even if it’s dust, if one is intent on finding something on someone, they’ll find it and one speck will become the biggest story.

The plant happens to also be bearing fruit. The quality of the fruit is yet to be determined. It is beginning to look like what’s expected.

Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

Matthew 5:11-12 NIV
